Address Search
For address searches, you do not need to enter full names
(usually only a word or two is necessary). Streets On A Disk
knows most street abbreviations and is not sensitive to
upper/lower case lettering.
NOTE: When an address is not available, you can also locate
points using cross streets. To locate a cross street, enter two
street names separated with a slash "/" in place of an
address.
It is not necessary to enter city, state, and zip unless working
with a large number of maps. These fields can speed up the
search time.
If more than one match is found, Streets On A Disk will display
the results in a list and you can select the one that you need.
Once an address is selected, from the results, you can zoom to
display the results. You can also right-click on an item in the list
for additional features.
